Courier deliveries over the the festive season may be delayed. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy time.
Delivery included in all hampers
Delivery within New Zealand (excluding The Chatham Islands and Great Barrier Island) is included in the price of the hamper and in the relevant packaging option, i.e. eco box, linen gift box, small or large basket and in the 'build your own' hamper section.
Delivery time frames
Whilst we will do everything possible to ensure a gift arrives on time, we are unable to guarantee arrival on a particular date.
We can affix a 'don't open me until' sticker on the shipping box free of charge. Let us know if you want this option and the date to open in the 'delivery instructions' section when checking out.
Orders are dispatched same working day before 2pm. We use a very reputable courier company and the following are the usual time frames for the express delivery service...
- North Island, South Island and Waiheke Island: 1-2 working days.
- Rural delivery [address checker]: an additional 1-2 working days.
Saturday deliveries are available to some areas for an additional charge of $9, please contact us to check if the address is deliverable.
Same day deliveries are available to some areas in Auckland for an additional charge of $17 - $65 (distance dependant), please contact us to check if the address is deliverable.
If your order is particularly urgent or requires a firm delivery date, please contact us to discuss what is possible.
Couriers aren't working on weekends and public holidays so, orders received then will be picked up on the next working day.
We use a 'non-signature required' option as our standard courier service. This means that the courier company will leave the package in a safe place and you do not need to be home to receive the package. Based on customer feedback, this type of service is preferable to ensure fastest delivery.
If you require someone to be home to receive the package, please include SIGNATURE REQUIRED in the Order Instructions section on the Checkout Order Confirmation page. We do not charge extra cost for this service. If the recipient has had issues with mail being stolen, please request signature required.
If the courier company does not believe that there is a safe place to leave the package, or you are not home and have selected signature required, the driver will leave a 'Card to Call' so that the recipient can contact the courier company to re-arrange delivery.
Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee that the delivery notes in your order instructions (e.g. climb the fence, subdue the dog with a snack and place the delivery in the rat-infested back shed) will be followed by the courier company, but we will be sure to pass them on to the courier.
Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO or private boxes and we don’t take responsibility for incorrectly supplied addresses, or non-delivery due to addresses without access, or safe access points.
We don’t charge extra for rural delivery (even though it costs us more) and it will take an extra 1-2 working days for the package to arrive. You can enter the address here to ascertain whether it is a rural delivery address.
Sorry, we do not allow pick ups as we are an online business only, and our liquor licence doesn’t allow it.
